Fine views and cozy vibes!

We just loved our time here! The views were just amazing, like something out of a postcard. Plus, Oliver's homemade dinner on both nights blew us away. Breakfast was a treat too! Just a heads up, the road up can be a workout-definitely recommend using their transport service if you've got bags.

solid breakfast with freshly made bread, excellant views. location adjacent to an 8 day hike through switzerland and eiger/moench and jungfrau.

Everything was perfect, had a special stay on both nights of our stay. The location was favourable, around 10-15 minutes walk from Allmendhubel Observation Deck. The hotel restaurant was nice with delicious cuisine.

Fine mountain views from the balcony created a calming atmosphere. Unique hiking trails just outside added adventure to the stay.

Access to the place involves a steep hike. Not ideal for everyone. The funicular runs only until 5:00 PM. Navigating back can be a workout, especially after a long day of activity.

Views of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau are fine.

it was a bit difficult to find the best way back to the hotel! 😅 the views from the balcony were stunning, and the breakfast had fresh local fruits! also, the hiking trails right outside made it an adventure worth it!

This beautiful mountain lodge is a hidden gem! Fine balcony views of the cows grazing nearby and the lovely Swiss peaks. Hiking trails right outside your door made exploring a joy!

Restaurant sonnenberg is a cute cozy chalet nestled among the alps with amazing views. The beautiful room, while small, had a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The meals were a highlight, especially with excellent service from chris, were pretty good during unexpected snow. The hiking trails right outside.

Couples seeking peace

My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights and, let me tell you, Christoph goes above and beyond! One night, after a long hike, we got caught in a rainstorm, and he rushed to the train station to pick us up. Truly reminded me of we had someone watching over us! And the glacial stream and the sounds of sheep and cows nearby helped us unwind every night. The views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau were postcard perfect!

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but it was acceptable given the location and comfort.

The mountain views from our balcony were stunnng and so calming. the hike from the nearest town to the hotel is quite challenging.

The views from the hotel were fine, especially while hiking on the Allmendhubel trail. We enjoyed relaxing at the restaurant with delicious local dishes that paired perfectly with the amazing scenery. Our two dogs loved the outdoor space.

My kids wished for a shuttle option for easier access to the hotel.

Electric kettle in the room was great for tea. Free Wi-Fi could be faster.

stayed in murren previously, but this biking experience at sonnenberg was exceptional. from the warm welcome to the elegant wine selection and delicious food, everything exceeded expectations. the attentive staff and beautiful mountain views made every moment truly memorable.
